My wife and I recently moved to another home and like in my family growing up every time we got something different, we called it new instead of another. 10 years ago, we moved to another home and there we found some good friends and a wonderful place to worship, (Matthew 18:20) but it takes time for those things to fall into place. I think first and the most important is finding a good local church. It is there you can find and make new friends and some with the same values that you have. If you have children, the school they will attend is so very important and what they teach there. The neighborhood is also important for children. I have known families that moved for a little more money only to find out the school and surrounding influences there hurt or ruined their children. Back to Church not only will you find good friends, but your children in Sunay School can or may find good friends. A lot better than out on the streets. About Churches ask around check a few out but beware. there are many kinds and with many names but make sure it is one that sticks to the Bible and doesn’t try to twist or pervert the Bible. Sadly, many have left the Bible and preach or teach getting right with God in some other way than by asking forgiveness for sins and putting faith in Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross, (1 Peter 3:18, John 3:16, Acts 4:12). Just make sure the things they teach or believe are according to the Bible, (Joshua 1:8). I am so thankful to God because we found a small local nearby Church that teaches the Bible accurately and some people that love God and trying to live for Him. See you in Church next Sunday.
